Oddfish is the main designing and project brand for Dita Actor's creative activity in Second Life®

All digital products/works created under the Oddfish brand, whether authored by or made available through Dita Actor, is protected under UK and International Copyright Law. For the purpose of this document, these digital products/works shall also refer to and include any image, graphics, digital assets, or digital images created or taken by Dita Actor.

 

Rights: 

All digital products/works and rights relating to them, including copyright and ownership rights remain the sole and exclusive intellectual property of Dita Actor. 

This is a singular license that is provided to you (the end user) on purchase, giving you the limited right to reproduce, publicly display, and distribute these digital products/works only for the agreed upon terms as set forth in this document.

Overview:

You may

☑ Use this product in your creations to sell or give away.

☑ Redistribute this item with copy OR transfer permissions.

You may not

☒ Give away or sell this product with both copy and transfer permissions together. 

☒ You may not export these digital works for use on any other grid outside of Second Life® without seeking Dita Actor's written consent.

You must

⚠ Ensure that you provide your own support for products that you create which are derived from these digital products/works.

⚠ Ensure that you are ONLY redistributing these digital products/works in a derivative work of your own legal creation.

Full terms of license:

You may reproduce this work as is and redistribute it ONLY as part of your own work

You are obligated to change the permissions of any product licensed to you with full permissions (Copy/Modify/Transfer) on redistribution as follows :

1) Copy, Modify, No Transfer or 2) Modify, Transfer, No Copy.

You may not redistribute this work with full permissions in any way without first consulting and gaining the consent of Dita Actor in writing, to do so.

Understand that Dita Actor is not obligated to grant you this right at all. 

You are obligated to provide your own technical support for any derivative products under the terms of usage of the original work.

Furthermore, you agree to indemnify Dita Actor against all claims, liability, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees and expenses, arising out of the creation of or any use of products redistributed by you. 

You may not copybot this work or change its authorship by any means that would mislead and or infringe upon the integrity of the original work itself.

Removing and/or altering such information is prohibited and constitutes a violation of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)

Other Details:

The use of all digital products created under the Oddfish Brand and governed by this license is restricted solely to the world of Second Life® 

FP Animations may not be resold or redistributed as animations themselves and/or included in ANY other animation bundle.

FP Meshes/Sculpts may not be resold or redistributed as build kits similar to purchase or included in ANY other building bundle.

FP Scripts may not be resold or redistributed as stand alone scripts.

FP Textures may not be resold or redistributed as stand alone textures. 

FAQs

Can I use your product to create a freebie/group gift/promo item

Yes you may, provided that the item's permissions have been changed in accordance to the terms of license.
