Glorious Days (New Event)

 

This is my offering for this round of 55L$ Glorious Days

I don't tend to put up that many of the clothing items that I make, as I tend, more often than not,  to make these solely for myself.

I love the sheer sensuality of something lacey and this dress hopefully has that mix between being a little daring, yet still remaining elegant and sophisticated enough to be right at home at a summer social.

While pride month may be behind us, I think that Love,

The chanced and rare meeting 

Of two or more souls crossing paths 

Touching minds; 

Sharing a moment 

However brief or long lasting.

Should ALWAYS be proudly celebrated.

So here's to that!

I made this  Say it with flowers collection as an alternative version of a floral gift/flower arrangement 

It was important to me that they have a unisex sort of vibe. Hopefully I've been able to achieve this!

They were actually pretty hard graft! 

With each petal painstakingly shaded and digitally hand painted. 

Each item consist of several texture composites!

These arrangements come as a twin pack with a transferable gift version in each, to give/share.

I also wanted a matching set of minimalist designed vases to fit in more modern interiors and came up with these as well :

4th of July Items

Truly! A made with love, warm and old fashioned baked

with green cooking apples and cinnamon pie makes me happy!


I guess it's part and parcel of having so many great friends who are Americans that you just want to celebrate with them!
So I've made a whole collection of items for the 4th as follows :


A cheeky little number that's a cross between Mrs Captain America and a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader! This full outfit includes shirt, vest, bootyshorts and boots.
For Maitreya LARA mesh body only.


Some decorations to help set the mood.
These balloons come with subtle star prints and Independence Day colours!


Simple rustic cake presentation of a home baked all butter sponge
layered with cream and strawberry jam


An Uncle Sam style kitsch foil top hat to match these spangly balloons. Both come in giving versions that enable you
to share these items with your friends using temporary prop attachment permissions


I had so much fun making these that I had to make 3 different versions!


Classic cookout fare that's just as much a slice of Americana!


This is a real 4th July punch recipe that I've tweaked. It can actually be made in 1st life!




With the exception of the Miss American Pie outfit, all of these items are also available as a Fatpack.

Mesh Firework System from Oddfish

 

This is a project that we've been developing for a while and what bigger bang is there to kick it off to than the coming 4th of July celebrations.

So different from particle system fireworks that are what you normally see for fireworks around Second Life, this system uses mesh animated with graphics based firework blooms. This enables you to create much more realistic looking firework explosions, as well as to mix them up with some fantastical animations. I've made this set specially for the 4th of July with stars and hearts as well as blooms that light up your virtual sky in patriotic colours of Reds, Whites and Blues.

As it's rather difficult to illustrate just how these fireworks look like, I've also created some videos to accompany this blog. Unfortunately I'm not able to record sound with this version of screencast software that I'm using, but do pop by the in-world shop to test out a demo, or grab yourself a demo version to rez at home and test out!

Second Life Turns 18!

It has now officially opened and I'm finally able to reveal to you some of the things that Enigma and I have been working on as part of our contribution to SL's big 18th Birthday Bash!

Our exhibit at it is called 18 and is a retrospective of our collaborative creations in the course of our own 5 year partnership.

Although neither of us can celebrate our rez days in the same number of years as SL does today, we've both been here a while and continue to enjoy being a part of this unique and vibrant online community of multiverses that come together in a complex, intergalactic fusion of strange cosmoses!

We'd like to invite you to be part of our exhibit by picking up your free SL18B gift from the gift stations or at our exhibit itself.

In conjunction with the "For your amazing kindness" figurine releases, I have also created a care themed greeting card with a UP of  L$20. The card is modify and transfer only to enable you to give this item away.

It will also be free for Nurses Day on May 12th so please pass it a long to the caring people who have impacted your life and show them a little care back too!

The card is raised with a sculpted mesh heart animated with a "heart beat"

International Nurses Day (12 May)

These adorable collectable and holdable figures were created in collaboration with Beyonkah from Sherbert to commemorate International Nurses Day but were made specially to celebrate the amazing kindness and compassion of carers everywhere.

These characters come in  a choice of Green or Blue scrubs and three main chocolate box flavours :

Strawberry, Latte and Chocolate

You can also change the hair, eye and stethescope colour via HUD

Easily personalise this unique item with your own 16 character message.

[Mod]ify -My Cute Pet Bowls

Out now at May's [Mod]ify event are these modifiable fun pet bowls!

Designed to be easily modifiable, each special shape includes the UV and Shadow Maps for even further customisation.

To illustrate how fun and simple it is to play around with the design of these bowls, I've also made some texture modifications which are also available for purchase as extra add-ons to this set.
