SOTW this week

This week, I've made these toothachingly cute smores :







They're really too cute to be edibles so I've scripted them up with some bento poses. I've also put them in a display like this :

There are different kinds available at Oddfish and Lil'Oddfish on Alfonzo Isle. Do come and check them out! 

My apologies again for the late updates and I totally managed to miss writing anything up on the last SOTW which , if you didn't catch it , were party hats.

That was a rather fun project 



as I developed a script with SC so that the party hats and horns assemble themselves on rez from a library of textures. This makes for some rather fun and random variety which I personally think is exactly what is nice for a party!

Out Exclusively @ Pure Vibe Shopping Event

 I thought it would be cool to have some headphones to release at the PureVibe Shopping Event and so came up with these! I've named them BassWarrior after the digital camouflage incorporated into the design.


They come with materials enabled and have subtle LED style fx so they look great in club lighting.

Special Edition : Candy Heartshaped Booth

 

 I really wanted to show-off the flexibility of this building and have created a version of it specially for the upcoming SOTW.


This reduced version of the Heartshaped Store/Booth is simple to modify, low in land impact and built  with events in mind.

The building is designed to be tintable, although the shipped version comes in pink and blue, you can virtually colour it in any way that you like!

Heartshaped Store/Booth Low LI Building

 


I've been wanting to make a pair of twinned buildings that would work well together and I came up with this inspired by warm thoughts and spring. I always want my buildings to be easy to retexture and modify if you should so choose.


Quite often one of the big feedback points I get about buildings is erratic LI that is incongruent with the product specifications so I have rigorously tested these buildings to make sure that the LI stays consistent.

As long as you do not modify them and they are used as shipped, the LI is unaffected. However if you do unlink the 9LI version of this build for example, the LI can increase significantly (13LI and possibly more). The physics portion of the build can be problematic when linked and I have found that this can misbehave quite badly. This is why I have shipped the build in two versions. The pre-linked version already includes physics but may be harder to texture if you do not remove the physics shapes first. The rezzer version is actually 1 LI less and is at a weight of 8LI in total unlinked.

To make it easier to identify which parts of the build are just the physics shapes, I have made them visible on rez and you can make them invisible simply by touching them. This script function can be removed and you can manually alpha the prims by editing them yourself.
